By using ProfileAlign (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use & Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
0) Summary (plain English)
- The Service is free to use, but some features may become paid.
- We process your uploaded documents and inputs to generate outputs.
- We may use data for AI processing, service analytics, security, and improvement.

1) The Service and eligibility
The Service helps you analyze alignment between your CV and a LinkedIn profile export, and generates suggestions and downloadable documents. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement.
2) Definitions
“User Content” means files, text, and other content you submit to the Service. “Outputs” means the reports, recommendations, and generated documents produced by the Service.
3) Free access and paid features
You may use the Service for free. However, certain features, capacity limits, integrations, advanced outputs, or support options may be offered as paid services now or in the future.
4) Your content and permissions
You may upload documents such as your CV and a LinkedIn PDF export (“User Content”). User Content may contain personal and professional data. You represent that you have the right to upload and process this content and that it does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
5) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to use (including confidential or third-party personal data without permission).
- Use the Service to generate unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content.
- Attempt to bypass limits, scrape the Service, reverse engineer, or interfere with availability or security.
6) Data we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:
- Documents and text extracted from uploaded files (e.g., CV and LinkedIn PDF).
- Inputs such as your target role and any other form fields.
- Usage and technical data (basic logs, device/browser data, timestamps, error traces) for reliability and security.
7) Cookies and analytics
The Service may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for basic operation and to understand usage (e.g., page views, performance). If analytics tools are used, they may set their own cookies.
8) How we use data (purposes)
We may use and process data to:
- Provide the requested functionality (generate audits, guides, and improved documents).
- Perform AI-based processing needed to produce outputs.
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Service (monitoring, abuse prevention, troubleshooting).

9) AI processing
